will be at the Newtown Studio on Friday, September 10th from 4pm-7pm.
They are very generously offering a 10% discount to any
GGO dancers who buy shoes that day.
Attention ALL COMPETITORS:
No one should enter the Harvest Time Feis (Heavy Quinn) on October 24th
as three of our teachers will be adjudicating that feis.

special guest World Champion Irish dancer Deirdre Robinette
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to improve technique and
confidence to your performance in both light and heavy dances.
This is the time to really take your dancing to the next level.

Greater Danbury Irish Festival
September 25th and 26th
Show times: Sat. Sept. 25th - 1:30 and 4:00pm
Sun. Sept. 26th - 4:00 and 6:30pm
Dancers who wish to participate must have a traditional costume and be able to attend the required rehearsals.
Adv. Beginner and Novice dancers must be able to attend 3 mandatory rehearsals:
Monday Sept. 13th, Monday Sept. 20th and Friday Sept. 24th
The class time is 5:30pm to 7pm.
The rehearsal fee is $45.00 made payable to the Gray Foundation.
Prize Winner, Prelim and Open dancers must attend 2 mandatory rehearsals:
Monday Sept. 20th and Friday Sept. 24th
The class time is 7pm to 8:30pm.
The rehearsal fee is $30.00 made payable to the Gray Foundation.
The rehearsals will be at the Newtown dance studio on Simm Lane.
To participate - email Miss Iris and let her know so that we can place your child in a dance and schedule, which day(s) your child will be dancing. Please email your response by August 31, 2010 and drop off or mail the payment by September 20, 2010. All dancers will be scheduled for both performances on one day and the more experienced dancers will be scheduled for both days’ performances.
