Sixth Annual Class Feis

Saturday, April 17, 2010

Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School • 53 Lyme St • Old Lyme, CT 06371

Competitions commence at 10:00am

Gray Gillan Owens at the Gray School will host a class feis Saturday, April 17th at the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School. This feis is a closed competition; therefore awards received will not change your current competitive status. A class feis is a great way for dancers at the beginner and advanced beginner levels to be introduced to the sport of competitive Irish dance at the convenience of a smaller, local venue. Novice and prizewinner level dancers can demonstrate their skills to family and friends while experiencing the fun of competitive dancing and receiving constructive criticism from the adjudicators.

Students with traditional costumes should wear them; those without should wear a black leotard and dance skirt with poodle socks and their proper dancing shoes just as they wear to dance class.

Adjudicators registered with An Coimisiún in Ireland will adjudicate the competitions. The adjudicators will present all awards orally. This feis is a closed competition; therefore awards received will not change your current competitive status.

Come and enjoy a day of great dancing.

TIMES MAY BE ADJUSTED ONCE ENTRIES ARE RECEIVED. Age groups will be combined if needed.
